Reasons why leasing is so attractive
What are the benefits of leasing compared with other forms of financing?
Your leasing provider finances the vehicle. You merely pay a low monthly instalment to cover actual use.
Lessors are not required to report the leasing asset in their balance sheets if there is a standard operate lease contract. Instead, it is capitalised for tax purposes by the leasing provider. The leasing payments are not reported in the balance sheet, and are merely included in the income and loss statement.
The leasing payments and contractual period are clear from the start and remain constant over the entire term. As a customer, this helps you avoid unexpected costs, especially regarding maintenance & wear as you pay flat rates for services.
Sixt Leasing has a strong market position and our long-standing supplier relationships provide us with special discounts that we are happy to pass on to you, the customer.
You can return the vehicle at the end of the contract period or, alternatively, you can buy it or extend the contract. Of course you could also select a new vehicle.
No remarketing risk
The leasing provider usually carries the residual value risk in standard operate lease contracts, which means that the lessor is responsible for remarketing the vehicle at the end of the contract. All you have to do is simply return the vehicle.
